Privacy Policy
KeepDial ("we," "us," "our") is a service operated by BOHWiz LLC, a company based in Illinois, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you visit keepdial.com or interact with our messaging service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us directly
- Contact details when you email us, book a demo, or sign up: name, business name, phone number, email address.
- Payment information when you subscribe: billing name, card details (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).
- Business details you share during onboarding: services, service area, hours of operation.
1.2 Information collected automatically when you call or text
- Phone numbers that place inbound calls to a KeepDial-managed line.
- Call metadata (time, duration, outcome such as missed/answered).
- SMS conversation content exchanged with our AI responder, for the purpose of booking appointments and surfacing information to the business owner.
1.3 Information collected automatically when you visit keepdial.com
- Basic analytics: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (from IP address), device type. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
2. SMS / Text Messaging Policy
This section describes how KeepDial handles SMS messages — it applies to both messages sent on behalf of KeepDial directly and messages sent on behalf of our client businesses using our platform.
2.1 How you opt in
You receive SMS messages from KeepDial or a KeepDial-powered business only after you have taken one of the following actions, which constitutes your consent:
- You placed an inbound phone call to a business using KeepDial and the call was missed. Your inbound call establishes prior contact and consent for a follow-up text to address the reason for your call.
- You submitted a form on keepdial.com (or a client's site) where SMS consent was explicitly requested.
- You replied YES to an initial outreach message confirming consent.
2.2 Opt-out
You can stop receiving SMS from us at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further SMS will be sent to your number.
2.3 Help
Reply HELP to any message for support information, or email hello@keepdial.com.
2.4 Frequency and fees
Message frequency varies based on your conversation. You may receive multiple messages in a single conversation thread (typically 2–6). Message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan. KeepDial does not charge consumers for SMS.
2.5 Data sharing for SMS
No mobile information (including phone numbers and opt-in consent data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with sub-processors (e.g., Twilio, GoHighLevel) is solely to deliver the messaging service you have engaged with.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the KeepDial service — sending/receiving messages, scheduling appointments, routing emergency alerts.
- To communicate with you about your account, subscription, service changes, or support requests.
- To improve our AI models and conversation quality — only on aggregated, anonymized data.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only in the following limited ways:
- Service providers that run our infrastructure: Twilio (telephony), GoHighLevel (CRM/automation), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting). These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to deliver our service.
- The KeepDial client business whose missed call you were responding to. If you text in response to a missed call to ABC Plumbing, ABC Plumbing will see the conversation so they can serve you.
- Legal compliance — if required by subpoena, court order, or to investigate violations of our Terms.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and SMS conversation data for as long as your account is active, and up to 12 months after cancellation for dispute resolution and legal compliance. You may request earlier deletion by emailing hello@keepdial.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to personnel who need it to operate the service. No system is 100% secure — if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Children
KeepDial is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete the information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.
